Facing to the North West they receive a refreshing sea breeze from the Ionian .
Several windmills were built along the breeze and some have now been renovated and put to use as bars and restaurants.

an easy drive to the Preveza Airport, the ferry port of Igoumenitsa,
the ruined Roman city of Nikopolis and the modern cities of Ioannina
